Consumer Product Research Recruiter – Monday through Thursday, 4:00 – 8:00 pm

Job Description:

North Cliff Consultants, Inc. is a consumer product research company. We conduct studies for local, national, and international companies testing cosmetics, personal care products, food, fragrance and over-the-counter drugs.

Location: Colerain – 6831 Colerain Ave Cincinnati, OH 45239

 Reports to: Teresa Kluener, Recruiting Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Recruit panelists to participate in studies over the telephone and via the internet by utilizing an Access database.
    • Interview panelists to ensure their eligibility to participate in various studies.
  • Enter panelist information into the database.

Consumer Research Study Technician

Job Description

Title:   Consumer Research Study Technician

Primary Responsibilities

– Provide professional interactions with our panelists in collecting accurate data and feedback for our clients by following research protocol with great attention to detail.  This is a flexible, part time position that offers a competitive hourly rate of pay and an annual bonus opportunity.

Core Competencies and Related Responsibilities

  • The ability to work both independently and within a team to ensure the study is performed as described in the research protocol.
  • The ability to quickly learn and perform technical tasks associated with a study and perform them with a high degree of accuracy and focus.
  • The ability to communicate and interact with clients, panelists and team members in a professional, collaborative manner.
  • A high level of flexibility/availability including early morning, afternoons, occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed.
  • The ability to stand, sit, bend and engage for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to perform quality results in a fast-paced, high energy work environment.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Computer skills required
  • High School Diploma or GED – required
  • Email accessibility for scheduling purposes – required
  • Previous clinical or sensory research a plus.

Sensory Project Leader

Job Description

Primary Responsibility:  Provide professional interactions with consumers to collect accurate data and feedback for clients by following a protocol with great attention to detail while working with Project Managers to process necessary documents and tasks for all aspects of the initiation, conduct and reporting of sensory studies.

Core competencies and related areas of responsibility:

The ability and comfort to work independently of others as well as with the team, to meet team goals and expectations.

The ability and comfort to work on multiple tasks and change directions within short periods of time.

  • Managing pre-study tasks such as product inventory, test cooks and documentation, ballot drafting.
  • Manage study staff and oversee execution of study.
  • Managing post study tasks such as data input, data analysis, report preparation.

A high sense of foresight and ability to problem-solve.

    • Anticipating and organizing upcoming work and “staying ahead” of the work load.
    • Proactive approach to unexpected issues
    • Producing data analysis and reports within submission guidelines

A high level of ability and comfort working with details

    • Communicate routine and non-routine issues with clarity (both verbally and written).
    • Review for accuracy study documents prepared by others
    • Organize and Maintain study communications.
    • Adapt complex report templates to meet specific study and client needs

The ability to see and bring to the attention of management opportunities for process improvement.

    • Critically evaluate the processes and procedures you are conducting and recommend changes for improvement

The ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Computer skills: Significant experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
